Shipping Policy & Procedures

 We want your shipment to reach you as quickly as possible with the minimum amount of fuss. All orders will be processed within two business days, provided the items are in stock and that there are no problems with payment verifications. We will contact you via email to confirm your order with delivery information and costs. No orders will be shipped until payment is approved. Should there be a backorder, we will email you with details and proceed as requested.

Sharpline Calgary Inc. is a Canadian company so all pricing, taxes and shipping costs are listed in Canadian currency. For orders outside of Canada, please contact Customer Service at 403-243-3418 or by e-mail at Sharpline Sales.

An adult must be available to accept, inspect, and sign for the delivery.

Orders can only be shipped to a physical address. Alternative shipping methods can be arranged for orders being sent to a box number, general delivery or rural routes. Overweight or oversized orders will be shipped for delivery in seven to fourteen business days depending on destination.

The freight company is not responsible for unloading or carrying the item into the premises, removal of packaging or assembly. Please make the necessary arrangements for receiving your shipment to ensure it is not postponed. Should delivery be turned away, delayed for any reason, or refused, you will be responsible for all additional expenses incurred.

IMPORTANT NOTE: When accepting any shipment, any missing cartons or visible damage must be noted on the receiving ticket before signing. All claims must be filed with the delivery carrier. Any claims for concealed damage must be filed within 10 days of receipt of delivery. Failure to properly file claims may mean refusal of the claim and subsequent loss to the consignee. All claims for merchandise delayed, lost or damaged in transit are the responsibility of the consignee.

Shipping Costs

For shipments within Calgary, Alberta, all orders over $150 are shipped FREE otherwise a minimum $20 charge will be added to the order. Shipping/freight costs are based on individual orders and will be determined by the size and weight. Prearranged orders may be picked up for free at our office.

Shipments outside Calgary, Alberta are based on individual orders and shipping/freight costs will be determined by the size and weight of the order and its destination. Overnight and two-day delivery are available at an additional cost.

We will charge you for any return shipments, plus all taxes and levies against the shipment if you:

  • Refuse a shipment sent to you without approval authorization
  • Give us an incorrect, inaccurate, or incomplete shipping address
  • Fail to give information that results in the shipment being undeliverable

Item Availability

Most items are stocked so that orders can be processed within two business days; in the case of backorders, you will be notified of the delay and proceed as directed. All merchandise is carefully inspected before packing and packed in an approved manner before it leaves our facility.

Cancellations

You may cancel or change your order prior to shipping by calling 403-243-3418. Orders already shipped may not be cancelled. 

Occasionally, orders may be cancelled by our system for various reasons, some of which include:

  • Item unavailable or discontinued
  • Difficulty in processing your payment information
  • Unable to ship to the address provided
  • Duplication of a previous order

Tracking your purchase

Sharpline Calgary Inc. uses numerous couriers for shipping. You may track your order once it has been shipped. You will receive your tracking number and courier used by e-mail when it has been shipped from our warehouse. Please note that there may be a 48-hour delay from the time it leaves our warehouse until the time that it can be tracked on the courier's website.

Return Procedures

All product returns require pre-authorization. Please email the Sharpline Sales Dept. for a Return Material Authorization. Procedures to return product will be supplied when the Return Material Authorization is emailed to you. The item must be returned new in unopened original packaging, with all paperwork, parts and accessories to ensure full credit.

Return Terms & Conditions:
Returns must be made within fifteen (15) days of the invoice date and will be evaluated on a product-by-product basis taking into account current stock levels and vendor/manufacturer return authorization. Authorization of restocking returns is at the sole discretion of Sharpline Calgary Inc. Authorized returns to be credited to account; no cash reimbursements.

Defective products will be exchanged for the same product only after verification. No credit will be issued. If the identical product is no longer available you can apply the amount towards another product.

A restocking fee of 20% will be charged on non-defective goods or client ordering errors after verification. Special orders cannot be returned. Goods must be in original packaging and in resalable condition in order to be eligible for return.

Non-defective goods must be returned prepaid and by doing so, terms and conditions of ' RMA' are accepted. An RMA is valid for 30 days.

We want you to be fully satisfied with every item that you purchase from Sharpline Calgary Inc., that is why we provide a 30-Day Money-back Guarantee. If you are not satisfied with an item that you have purchased, you may return the item within 30 days of delivery for a full refund of the purchase price, minus the shipping, handling and other associated charges with the return.

Damaged or Defective Goods

Many of the items come with a manufacturer' s warranty. For additional information on the manufacturer' s warranty for a specific product, contact the manufacturer directly. If you should receive a damaged or defective item, please contact Customer Service at 403-243-3418 for instructions.
